Celebrating its heritage, Nobleford’s annual Heritage Day celebrations on July 30 offer plenty of options for families wanting to take in fun-filled activities in the village located within Lethbridge County. Heritage Day events kick off with a pancake breakfast from 7:30-10 a.m. followed by a candy parade at 11 a.m. Donations from the pancake breakfast will go to the Nobleford Centennial Society. Car enthusiasts don’t miss the show and shine from 11:30-3 p.m. and a barbecue lunch will be served at the Nobleford Fire Hall at noon plus there will be food trucks available to curb your food cravings during the day from noon on. There’s also a bake sale from 12-3 p.m. at the Nobleford Community Complex and live entertainment by Dory and The Weathermen from 1-3 p.m., also at the Nobleford Community Complex. For kids, there will be inflatables set up and horse rides from 1-4 p.m. and a community supper catered by the Cactus Pub and hosted by the Nobleford Heritage Society at 5 p.m. Supper is $13 at the door and will include beef on a bun, baked beans, a green salad, and a baked potato with all the fixings.
According to the Nobleford Heritage Society, the Nobleford and Area Museum will also be open all day. There will also be a concession in the Nobleford Community Complex with water, pie, chips, juice, and popsicles on sale, with all proceeds also going to the Nobleford Centennial Society.
