Blankets for Canada appreciate community support

We want to thank all the people who donated yarn, squares and time for this worthy cause. We have been in Coaldale more than 18 years; Lethbridge started 26 years ago. When Lethbridge was celebrating 20 years I said to the then-Mayor of Lethbridge, ‘I hope you put us out of business!’

But we are all still busy making quilts and crochet blankets. 

We make them all from other people’s leftovers! Our small group in Coaldale was able to bring 200 blankets to Lethbridge this year!

So our hearty thanks to all who donated for our worthy cause. Thanks for keeping us, “in stitches!”
