The Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan includes a stop in Coaldale

• The tour rolls into town on November 29

Once again, the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan is driving Christmas cheer across Canada – and this year’s tour includes a stop in Coaldale on November 29 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., during the Night of Lights on Main Street. Also new for this year, Coca-Cola in Canada is introducing the Canada’s Kindest Community Contest to recognize and celebrate acts of kindness that bring warmth to the season. 

We checked in with Konrad Kiss, General Manager, Coke Canada Bottling in Calgary, for all the details and to receive a special shout out to the residents of Coaldale.

“The Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan is a magical experience that celebrates the true spirit of the season – bringing people together to spread joy in every community it visits,” shared Kiss. “With Santa’s help and our iconic red Coca-Cola truck, adorned with twinkling lights, the Holiday Caravan delivers optimism and offers a chance for families, friends, and neighbours to come together and celebrate moments of kindness, while creating unforgettable memories.”

When asked why this is so important, Kiss noted firmly, “Now more than ever, the world needs more kindness. That’s why, we’re launching our new Canada’s Kindest Community contest, a nationwide search in partnership with Community Foundations of Canada. The new program encourages Canadians to share acts of kindness that they or others have done that have made life a little kinder for a chance to win $50,000 for their Community Foundation, a special 2025 Holiday Caravan experience, and be recognized as Canada’s Kindest Community.”

“Canada’s Kindest Community,” Kiss explained further, “is a new program we launched this year in partnership with Community Foundations of Canada. It is all about recognizing and celebrating kindness in communities across the country, no matter the size. We’re inviting Canadians to submit acts of kindness, whether their own or of others, and the community with the most nominations per capita will be rewarded.”

Kiss is happy to share the local connection and welcome Coaldale to the tour.

“What many people don’t know is that Coke Canada Bottling is locally owned and operated. We have almost 50 employees in our distribution centre in Lethbridge who service our local customers in Coaldale. By bringing the Holiday Caravan and Canada’s Kindest Community to Coaldale, we hope we can deliver optimism and inspire acts of kindness this holiday season, furthering our impact in the local communities where we operate. Residents of Coaldale can look forward to seeing the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan at the Country Christmas Night of Lights and parade, featuring our iconic red truck, driven by Santa himself!
