COVID-19 vaccine scam targeting seniors

It’s important to protect yourself and loved ones (particularly senior citizens) from scams, especially ones that prey on the current COVID-19 situation.

A newer fraud involves people being called by someone who claims to be a representative of Alberta Health Services.

The call recipient is told Albertans over 75 can book their COVID-19 vaccines for a fee.

Please note AHS never asks for payment for COVID-19 immunizations.

If you receive this call, hang up and report it to the nonemergency line for law enforcement.
