Celebrating Our Elders: Picture Butte Seniors Dinner

In every community, seniors represent history, wisdom, and experience. They are the backbone of society, guiding younger generations through their stories, struggles, and triumphs. Honouring these members of our community is not just a sign of respect, it’s a celebration of their invaluable contributions and a chance to acknowledge their significance in our lives. The Town of Picture Butte is doing just that with an event that promises warmth, camaraderie, and joy – the annual Seniors Dinner.

The Town Council of Picture Butte is excited to host the much-anticipated Seniors Dinner on Wednesday, June 5 at the Community/Seniors Centre. Understanding the diversity within the senior community, Picture Butte has inclusively decided not to set an age limit for this event. Recognizing that individuals aged 50+ are already part of the local seniors group, the dinner is open to all who consider themselves seniors.

The evening will kick off at 5:30 p.m. with a drop-in style dinner, ensuring a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where everyone can enjoy the meal at their own pace. While the dinner menu is currently being finalized, guests can anticipate a delicious, hearty meal served in a bun. It’s sure to be a treat that caters to all tastes and preferences.

To add to the celebration, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the dinner will be followed by entertainment featuring local talent.
