Christ is risen, alleluia

A voice is calling far away in the desert “make the road smooth and the path straight cause Our Savior is on His way.”  When Jesus fasted for forty days and nights Satan said to him “If you are the Son of God turn these stones to bread.” But Jesus said, “man cannot live on bread alone but by every Word that comes from the mouth of God.”

The Pharisees were responsible in killing Jesus on Good Friday because they thought Judaism would be wiped out although there were many Jews that followed Jesus and believed in his miracles. The whole story of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus is depicted in the fourteen Stations of the Cross. Lydia and I participated in praying the Stations of the Cross for six weeks every Friday during Lent followed by Adoration of the Holy Eucharist. Do you believe that Jesus, who was tortured by the Roman soldiers, was still able to walk up the hill to Calvary carrying his cross? 

After the crucifixion of Our Lord Jesus Christ mankind has been saved because Jesus is Risen from the dead and no longer will die. Let us Rejoice and Praise the Lord because Jesus is Risen on Easter Sunday.
