Town of Coalhurst Fire Ban

Whereas, conditions exist in the Town of Coalhurst that pose a heightened risk of fire due to dry conditions and heat — the Town of Coalhurst has enacted a fire ban on all open fires within the town, excluding those fires contained within a cooking or heating appliance fuelled by fluids or gases. All issued fire permits are now void. This declaration is made under the authority of the Town of Coalhurst Fire Bylaw #321-06. This is effective Aug. 28 at 4 p.m.
