In December 2023, the Town of Nobleford received a grant for $15,000 from the Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta.
Joseph Hutter, Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Nobleford, says of the $15,000 donated, $14,000 was contributed by the CFLSA, and $1,000 was contributed by the Lethbridge Auto Dealers Association (LADA).
“We are immensely thankful to the two organizations for their generous donations,” said Hutter. “We were absolutely thrilled to receive confirmation that we were successful in our grant application.”
The funding, Hutter says, will be allocated towards the upgrading of kitchen equipment within the Town’s Community Complex and a new fridge, freezer, stoves and industrial dishwasher will be installed, as well as new cutlery and dinnerware. If budget remains, Hutter says, the Town plans on replacing cabinet doors and drawer fronts.
“We expect the aforementioned upgrades to occur before the end of the year, and hope that users enjoy the improvements,” said Hutter. “I believe I can speak on behalf of Town Council and the residents of Nobleford that we are grateful for the Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta and Lethbridge Auto Dealers Association for their generosity.”
