Picture Butte Blades continue tiering round in Central Alberta Hockey League

U11

On Saturday, the U11 Blades came home for a date against Raymond where they won 4-1. Isiah Wiebe, Reeve Mcleod, Mackaila Vandenberg, and Liam Campmans hit the back of the net for Butte. Macleod and Jude Klingenberg also collected an assist each. Cale Campbell faced 14 shots in the win.

On Sunday, the team hit the road for a game against Vulcan, which resulted in a 9-1 win. Tucker Tillsley had four goals, Wiebe had a pair, while Sage Campmans, Klingenberg, and Vandenberg each had singles. Jack Groenenboom and Santiago Gomez Ramos each had a pair of assists, while Jace Realini, Klingenberg, Gomez Ramos, and Neal Oudewortel each found the scoresheet with one assist.

The team hits the road on Oct. 30 for a matchup against Okotoks Green and returns home on Sunday morning for a 10:45 a.m. puck drop against a team to be announced.

U13

Picture Butte U 13 Blades saw a 7-6 win at home against Fort Macleod on Saturday. Brody Trotter had four tallies, while Logan Hebenik, Kade Spencer and Walker Schooten had the other goals for the Blades. Aiden Vande Must, Matthew Van Zeggelaar, Abraham Gomez Ramos, and Justin Campmans chipped in with an assist each. Evan Bezooyen faced 32 shots in the win.

On Sunday, the Blades saw a 6-3 win on the road against Pincher Creek. Schooten and Hebenik had a pair of goals, while Jesse Klingenberg and Trotter had the other goals for Butte. Tax Doucet had a pair of assists while Schooten also collected a single assist. Bezooyen faced 23 shots in the blue crease.

The Blades return home on Sunday for a 1 p.m. puck drop against a team not yet announced.

U15

The U15 Blades went 1-1 this past weekend with the first game at home versus Vulcan, which ended in a 5-2 loss. Carson Konynenbelt and Luka Rudelich scored the pair of Picture Butte goals in the defeat. Gavin Johnson faced 57 shots in the game.

The Blades would bounce back in their second game of the weekend as they saw a 7-4 win at home against Nanton. Dalton Dell found the back of the net twice in the game, while other scoring came from Connor Oostlander, Rudelich, Austin Liebreicj, Brayden Oostlander, and Asher Sincennes. Konynenbelt and Rudelich also had a pair of assists, while Benedict Dress and Connor Oostlander had one each. Johnson saw 49 shots fired his way in the win.

The U15 Blades will visit Pincher Creek on Saturday and then Coaldale on Sunday.
